As part of the Influenster criteria, I needed to post a mani using the Sinful Colors polish I got yesterday in my VoxBox.
This color is a really pretty (and quite trendy) color that I would say is in the “Tiffany” Green range. Not blue but the green range. Soft and classy. And a little bit darker than say, mint green. Do you think it looks like Sea Foam Green? Possibly a better description than “Tiffany” green.
I painted all my nails with Sinful Colors “Song of Summer” that I received. Once dry, I painted a uneven swirl from my cuticle to my free edge on my accent finger using Sinful Colors “Queen of Beauty”. While that was still tacky, I placed light green gems evenly spaced along the line of the two colors. Then when that was dry, I placed lime green dots using acrylic paint in between the gems.
Waiting a couple more minutes, I applied a top coat. So there you have it.
I like the consistency of “Songs of Summer”. Much like most polishes out right now, they are heavily pigmented, so you have to make sure you have enough on your brush to cover the nail, without flooding it. Otherwise, you will end up with streaky polish or polish that looks too thick. Just a little forethought and some practice will help overcome any issues with this highly pigmented color.
So, my impressions of this polish are good. The polish color is on trend and I actually like a polish with a good amount of pigment in it. I think it is a enjoyable and affordable polish to add to your collection.
