Just in time for Halloween!

Actually, my friend who usually wears very conservative nails (soft white french manicures on her natural nails) completely shocked me today when she said that she wanted silver tips!!!

So I looked for a gel polish in the shade that she wanted. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find one in gel polish with a charcoal background, but I did find it in regular lacquer.

She normally wears Gel Color, and loves the durability. So I did a little experimenting. I applied OPI Gel Color Base Coat on a nail tip. Cured for 30 seconds. Applied a coat of OPI Gel Color in Passion and cured that for 30 seconds.

I then applied the regular lacquer in “Haven’t the Foggiest” at her smile lines and cured it in the OPI LED Light for 60 seconds. I’m not sure if this actually did anything but let the lacquer dry for a full minute. Then I applied the OPI Gel Color Top Coat and cured it for 30 seconds.

Remove the moist surface residue and VOILA! It worked so I did it on her very pretty nails!

BEAUTIFUL….
